Philadelphia TMA Event Forecasts the New Year

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 23, 2012 -- Philadelphia, PA – January 23, 2012 – What kind of climate the turnaround industry faces in 2012 will be the topic of a February 8th event hosted by the Turnaround Management Association’s Philadelphia Chapter (TMA). Titled The Outlook, it’s the first in a series of educational presentations called the Snapshot Series, in which thought leaders offer a fresh focus on key industry topics.

The Outlook will feature Dr. Mark M. Zandi, chief economist of Moody's Analytics where he directs economic research, and cofounder of Economy.com. He is a trusted advisor to policymakers and an influential source of economic analysis for businesses, journalists and the public. He frequently testifies before Congress on topics including the economic outlook, the nation’s daunting fiscal challenges, the merits of fiscal stimulus, financial regulatory reform, and foreclosure mitigation.

On February 8th, Dr. Zandi will offer his insights on:
• The economic outlook for 2012-2013
• Headwinds that might prove challenging
• Industries where restructuring situations are likely
• Industries where the outlook contains good news
• Tailwinds that could move things along
• Policy impacts on the economy, pre and post-election

Dr. Zandi is a frequent guest on CNBC, NPR, CNN, Meet the Press, and various other national networks and news programs. He is the author of Financial Shock: A 360º Look at the Subprime Mortgage Implosion, and some of his presentations may be found on YouTube. His forthcoming book, Paying the Price, provides a road map for meeting the nation’s daunting fiscal challenges.
