Phoenix Race Works Partners with Edge Engineering to Produce Leading SCCA F1000 Racecar

Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 30, 2011 -- Phoenix Race Works (www.phoenixraceworks.com) and Edge Engineering (www.edgecnc.com) have strategically partnered to increase production of the exceedingly successful SCCA F1000 racecar designed and engineered by Phoenix Race Works. Previously, Phoenix Race Works and Edge Engineering collaborated together on various projects and Edge Engineering supplied a mixture of components for the Phoenix F1000 racecar. Until now, Phoenix Race Works not only designed but also fully manufactured their racecar at their facility.

The partnership with Edge Engineering will allow Phoenix Race Works to focus on continued improvement of their racecar and engineering of future designs while Edge Engineering now holds the duty of production and manufacturing of the Phoenix Race Work racecar.

This joint venture will allow for rapid production by using a six sigma approach to manufacturing the Phoenix Race Works racecar. “I am excited to blend Edge Engineering’s manufacturing expertise and my engineering capability to be able to increase production rates of the Phoenix Race Works racecar without having to sacrifice build quality or attention to detail,” says Dustin Wright, Phoenix Race Work’s owner and chief engineer.

Gary Hickman, Edge Engineering’s CEO and founder agrees. “Edge Engineering has the ability to manufacture the Phoenix Race Works car in a way that retains Dustin’s great engineering abilities and meet the current demand of the racecar to keep competitive cars racing in the Formula 1000 Series.”
