West Seattle, WA – January 16, 2012 – West Seattle Pilates Instructor, Beth Montanez of Be Pilates, is offering a new Pilates Certification Class this summer. The popularity of Pilates is growing exponentially – creating a shortage of certified instructors in the area. If you love Pilates and love people this could be a great career for you.

The course will run from April 4 – November 10, 2012, meeting every other week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. After classes conclude students will be eligible to take the national exam for Pilates teacher certification. The course fee includes all materials, study guide, review and the fee for taking the McEntire Pilates certification exam.

The program consists of 160 hours in class, 240 hours of practice teaching, and 150 hours of physical practice – far exceeding the minimum 450-hour requirement for taking the exam. Beth’s goal is to make sure you are not only going to ace the exam, but more importantly that you are ready to teach with confidence the minute you become certified.

Our requirements meet the national standard established by the Pilates Method Alliance® and will give you the tools to be a knowledgeable, caring, intuitive Pilates Instructor.
