Pinckney, Michigan Musician Gil Clark Taking It to the Next Level

In conjunction with Tate Music Group and producer Don Johnson, known for his work with Emmy Lou Harris’ Hot Band, local singer and songwriter Gil Clark has laid down the latest tracks of his new album. Soon after wrapping up the recording of 2010’s album “Thanks for the Ride”, with producer Jim Roll, Gil Clark set out to Oklahoma to meet up with TMG. After several months of hard work, Clark is very excited to announce the national release of his 7th album, “Love Carries On”. Clark’s newest work fully encompasses his evolution as a musician showing growth in both his wonderful tones and heartfelt lyrics. Both TMG and Clark have been preparing for this highly anticipated album release and are very happy to see it arrive!

Clark’s newest tracks tell stories of times past and tales of hope that take your heart to a place of nostalgia and also to a place of future and possibilities. Gil Clark is a natural storyteller and once he puts the music to the lyrics it all flows together and just sounds like it was always meant to be that way. Music played and sung as only a true artisan can do, Clark’s tunes leave you wanting to hear more, to hear what comes next in the story. Clark has been busy the past couple of months, working with TMG and his marketing department putting himself out wherever he can be heard; yacht clubs, coffee houses, bars, fairs.
