PING clubs are firm favourites with professionals and amateurs all over the world, and for every Ping's legendary gold putterthat produces a win on Tour the company marks the triumph by making a gold-plated version of the model used by the player.
We went to PING HQ in Arizona to take a look inside the famous Gold Putter Vault, and the video below shows just how impressive it is.
The very first product that PING Founder Karsten Solheim ever developed was his 1A putter which gave off the distinctive sound that the company is named after.
Solheim decided to mark a player's win on Tour with the Ping's legendary gold putter as a way of thanking them for playing his product.
There are over 2,600 in there, with the late, great Seve Ballesteros having the most to date with a whopping 46. The Anser model, with all its variations, is the most popular.
But while the vast majority of clubs in there are putters, there are a few exceptions. Back in 1986, Bob Tway holed a bunker shot see off the challenge of Greg Norman in the USPGA Championship - and Solheim honoured the shot by making a gold-plated wedge and storing it in the Ping's legendary gold putter Vault.
