Platinum Account Group Gives Interest on Venture Funding for Electric Vehicle

Other reasons for the rise in demand include market adaptations sparking consumer interest, consumer purchase incentives, as well as a rise in awareness for exciting new vehicle models.

Production of electric vehicles is growing across the globe and over the next few years automakers are planning to launch and introduce a variety of new models. Honda and Chevrolet officially launched new electric vehicle models in recent weeks after several months of performing advance publicity. California is fast becoming a worldwide center for electrified vehicle innovation and jobs. In the first half of this year, from Platinum Account Group’s research department, businesses accrued over $467 million or 69 percent of the global total in electric vehicle venture capital investment.

From 2008 to 2009, California generated 300 patents for electric vehicle technology tying up, in terms of the number of patents filed for electric vehicle technology, with the traditional center of the U.S. auto industry which is Michigan.

Platinum Account Group reports that because of this growth, employment is also taking off even in the current economic state the country is in. For example at Tesla Motors, this year, they brought its national workforce to about 1,400 for hiring 300 workers in California. They even have a plan to double its employment next year. Even other companies from small electric drive manufacturers to businesses that has connection with electric vehicle production and installment have doubled their workforces or grown faster this next year.
