July 2, 2011

PlugNPlay has launched a campaign for votes to win a $10K Pepsi Refresh Project grant to fund their student focused renewable energy program.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) July 2, 2011 -- Plug NPlay is teaming up with the Scoutmaster Bucky program, the Northern Star BaseCamp facility (Fort Snelling, MN), Ridetech, EZ Chassis Swaps and over 450 Scouts and Scout leaders to research, design and build an all electric rat rod - October 7, 8 and 9, 2011.

Plug NPlay needs your help. Be a part of this record setting event by voting for Plug NPlay each and every day for the entire month of July. A simple vote could help our students win $10,000 in grant money.

The final project will also be available to teachers for classroom discussions (K - 12) and over 12 shows each year (over 2 million spectators). Other events will be planned in April, June, July and October of 2012 that will expand the experience to even more students.

Plug NPlay will be offering their first Innovation Weekend to Webelos and Boys Scouts from ages 11 to 18 - October 7, 8 and 9, 2011 with a choice of over 20 merit badge classes to study from. All of the choices are themed around one goal - to complete an electrically powered rat rod that uses plug-in, solar and wind for fuel.
