PokerRoomCompare.com have launched a brand new portal this week aimed at mobile poker players who are looking for information on Android, iPad and iPhone poker apps.
PokerRoomCompare.com began in 2009 as a poker room news and review website. The growth in mobile devices such as iPhones, Androids and iPads has resulted in a huge surge in interest for mobile gaming. As a result, PokerRoomCompare.com has relaunched as a Mobile Poker Portal, with 100's of articles and news stories, as well as reviews and information on the latest mobile poker products.
The new poker portal covers all types of mobile poker games, but focuses primarily on real money poker apps for iPhones, iPads and Android devices. A Windows Mobile section will be launched later this year.
The iPad Mobile Poker section takes a look at the various impediments to playing real money poker on the iPad, and offers detailed solutions on how to use third party apps such as LogMeIn or Jaadu to circumvent any issues.
The Android Mobile Poker section deals with many of the issues surrounding mobile poker on Android tablets and smartphones. A change in Google policy in 2011 has meant real money gambling apps are no longer permitted in the Android market. The Android Poker section provides solutions on how to work around these restrictions. The Android Poker section is also packed with all the latest news from the mobile poker industry.
The iPhone Mobile Poker section provides a comprehensive guide to all aspects of playing mobile poker on the iPhone. The iPhone section also deals with the fallout from Apple refusal to approve real money poker apps in certain countries, giving a detailed country by country guide on which Apple App Stores allow real money poker apps.
"I am very pleased with the new mobile poker portal. The new easy to navigate design and layout, coupled with the high quality content from our experienced team of writers has already received much praise from industry figures." said the company's chief executive Kyle Bradshaw. "We are also delighted with the huge increase in traffic that has resulted from our change in focus."
