Popular Florida Aviation MRO expands capabilities into turboprops and large piston twin aircraft

Windward Aviation, a Southern Florida MRO, names Michael J. Gillow new GM, expanding Windward's capabilities into turboprops and large piston twin aircraft, meeting FL aircraft client demand.

West Palm Beach, FL – September 12, 2011 - Windward Aviation, a leading general aviation maintenance and repair facility serving Southern Florida, has announced the addition of new General Manager, Michael J. Gillow. Mr. Gillow’s addition allows Windward Aviation to expand its maintenance and repair services beyond larger piston twins (Navajo, Cabin-Class Cessna) to now include turboprops, such as the popular Cessna Caravan, Pilatus PC12, Beechcraft King Air and Piper Cheyenne.
Michael J. Gillow joins Windward Aviation as General Manager
Prior to joining Windward Aviation, Michael served as DOM and GM for a number of Part 135 Operations and Repair Stations as a licensed, FAA Airframe & Powerplant mechanic with Inspection Authorization. Michael is also a pilot with commercial, multi-engine and instrument ratings.
