FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Fort Myers, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 30, 2011 -- FORT MYERS, Fla., May 2, 2011 – Southwest Florida golfers have the opportunity to win a FREE 2011 Porsche Panamera when they register for the Second Annual “Tee Time for Tots” Child Care Golf Tournament Friday, May 20.

The sports car is being offered by sponsor Porsche of Fort Myers to anyone who shoots a hole in one on a designated hole during the tournament at Pelican Preserve Golf Club, 10571 Veneto Drive, near Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers.

“We are thrilled that Porsche of Fort Myers has joined us as a major sponsor and will be providing one of their fabulous cars as an incentive to hit a hole in one,” said Linda McNabb, Director of Development of Child Care of Southwest Florida, Inc.

The Porsche Panamera is a four-door, four-seat luxury sedan that was unveiled at the 13th Auto Shanghai International Automobile Show in Shanghai, China, in 2009. One of the highlights of the debut was fitting the car into the freight elevator of the Shanghai World Financial Center and sending it to the skyscraper’s 94th floor. The Panamera is in high demand internationally with 22,518 sold in its first year. It has a 3.6 liter, V-6 engine, seven speeds and lists for $74,400.

The Panamera will be shown on the golf course during the tournament. Whoever hits a hole in one that day will take outright ownership of the car at the tournament. Anyone who would like to see the Porsche beforehand also may visit the showroom at 10064 Daniels Interstate Court near I-75.

“Porsche of Fort Myers is committed to helping our area’s not-for-profits, especially those benefitting children. We welcome the opportunity to partner with Child Care of Southwest Florida and help all children, especially those from low-income families, obtain the kind of early childhood education they deserve,” said John Harris, Managing Partner of Porsche of Fort Myers.

The “Tee Time for Tots” Child Care Golf Tournament will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start with prizes awarded for closest to the pin and longest drive for both men and women. There also will be beverages served on the course throughout the afternoon. Proceeds will provide early learning child care scholarships for low-income families.

“Many people don’t realize that the cost of child care is the third largest expense in the family budget after housing and food,” McNabb said. “Many of our families simply cannot afford the child care expense without some help. That’s where this golf tournament can assist families in need.”

Other levels of sponsorship still available are:

•Eagle Sponsor - $1,850, includes four golfers and dinner for four; logo on event banner; one tee sign, and website recognition.

•Birdie Sponsor - $1,500, includes four golfers and dinner for four; one tee sign, program and website recognition.
