This portable UHF reader, model 246002, operates at ultra high frequency range of 902 to 928 MHz. It performs wireless transmission and conducts effective data collection, management and transfer. This UHF reader provides a maximum read distance of 7 m and a flexible write distance from 0 to 4 m. The multi-protocol supporting reader writer is compatible with ISO 18000-6b, EPC Class 1 Gen 1, EPC UHF Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6c standard transponders. It has a built-in rechargeable lithium ion power pack and communicates with a computer via infrared to 700 colour interface for data exchange. Moreover, this handheld UHF reader is encapsulated within an ABS housing and has an IP54 protection rating allowing it to withstand strong vibration and maintain optimum performance even in harsh environments.
