A unique Canadian alternative to traditional fast food... Poutine Plus
Food service and marketing industry veteran, Chris Desjardins did not originally intend to start his own franchise restaurant as he focused his career on the creative side of marketing for companies like; Cultures, Yogen Früz, Coffee Time and Burger King to mention a few.

His overall experience combined with the knowledgeable professionals he worked with has given him the experience to create a new brand with new ideas.

He needed a prime location for Poutine Plus, so he went out and found a location where they would be noticed, right on the corner of Bathurst and Queen St. West (657 Queen St.) next door to Tim Hortons and Pizza Pizza.

“We offer something different, our customers will want to eat in our restaurant because we're different from other places. The theme is very Canadian. It's similar to a traditional Montreal diner with hockey and sporting memorabilia. And the menu has tastes from Montreal and New York” They even have maple sugar products.”

“ It is all about good food, superior service, creating excitement through our new products and a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re having a Poutine in Montreal.” says his wife Dionne who grew up in Montreal.

What is offered on the menu at Poutine Plus... well the menu has more to offer than Poutine, that is the Plus part of the name.

There are three main sections to their menu: Poutine, Hot Sandwiches and Nathan's Hot Dogs from New York, which are the best in the world.

Poutine Plus offers the same toppings on all their products so you can have Montreal smoked meat on your poutine, sandwich or even on your hot dog. Some of the other toppings are shrimp party, morning after and Canadian back bacon just to mention a few. Also on the menu are old fashioned milk shakes and hot apple cider, for when those cold days come.

“Our vision is to grow the number of Poutine Plus locations every year as inquires come in everyday and even one all the way from Japan.”

“But we also believe in careful and controlled growth making sure each location develops a strong record of sales and growth before opening another location.”
