POWER COOKIES FROM AMERICA’S MOST POWERFUL WOMEN

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 16, 2009 -- HOT SPRINGS, AR – Oct. 16, 2009 – Holiday season is about to be in full swing, and this year Power Women Magazine is making things a bit easier on would-be bakers or time-strapped women by hosting its first holiday cookie contest.
Women are encouraged to submit a holiday cookie recipe and sample in one of the following categories:

 Non-baked
 Shortbread
 Candy
 Chocolate
 Bars
 Oatmeal
 Kid-friendly
 Healthy
 Frosted

Contestants can only enter one recipe per category, but may enter multiple categories. There is no fee to enter.

“We are scanning America to find the best-tasting, most-creative and easiest-to-make cookies,” said Deb Bailey, owner, Power Women Magazine and Radio Show. “A true power woman is one that helps others shine. By submitting easy and delicious recipes, our hope is that one woman may just help make another woman’s holiday season a little brighter.”

The winner of each category will be featured on the front page of the December issue of Power Women Magazine with a bio and a photo of each winner with her cookies.

The contest runs from Sept. 25 to Nov. 24, 2009. All samples must be submitted along with an original recipe and will be judged on taste, creativity and ease of recipe. Decisions of judges are final and binding in all respects.
