Power Sport Institute engages future builders with AMD World Championship Affiliation

ANYWHERE , California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) May 11, 2011 -- Robin Bradley, AMD founder, long has suggested one of the underlying focuses of the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building is to broaden the audience and participation in custom bike building.

“I truly am thrilled to have an educational institution such as the Ohio Technical College operating as the Power Sport Institute Affiliate themselves with the AMD World Championship. What a wonderful opportunity to expose future builders to a network of seasoned builders and promote the future of our industry at the same time,” said Robin Bradley, Publisher, Founder and Organizer of AMD Magazine and the Official World Championship of Custom Bike Building.

Bernie Thompson of the Power Sport Institute further added, “We felt this move was just a further enhancement of our relationship with S&S. We can show our students how to work sheet metal, rebuild an engine and put it all together through custom class room projects.”

The Power Sport Institute will have an entry in the AMD World Championship ready for this summer in Sturgis.

The World Championship exists to showcase and promote international custom motorcycle design and engineering quality, craftsmanship and innovation; and to promote the evolution of custom motorcycling in ways that will help secure the unique enjoyment of custom motorcycles for future generations of riders.

The Championship is a free-public-admission four-day event that opens on the first Sunday of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, culminating in an awards ceremony at 3:00 pm MST on the Wednesday of the Rally.
