PP Plastic Can and Gas Transmission Rate (GTR) Testing

Labthink Instruments Co., Ltd., as the excellent testing instrument and testing service supplier, introduces new PERME OX2/230 Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR) Test System for the PP plastic cans and the material. It is applicable in oxygen transmission rate (OTR) tests for both films and finished containers, including plastic films, laminated films, and flat sheet materials, as well as the finished package/container made from plastic, rubber, paper, glass, metal and other materials in pure oxygen or air. It is master-satellite module design: 1 master base can support 9 satellite modules, 30 different samples can be tested together! This test system complies with ASTM D3985, ASTM F2622, ASTM F1307, ASTM F1927, ISO 15105-2, JIS K7126-B, GB/T 19789 and YBB 00082003, etc.
This tester applies Coulometric principle and equal pressure method. It’s with patent configuration design of 3 chambers, easy to mount the samples; the 3 samples could be different. 3 independent testing cells can give 3 results respectively, and can be connected together to enlarge the testing area for higher barrier materials.

As to the master-satellite module of this tester, 1 master base can support 9 satellite modules, 30 different samples can be tested together. Both the master base and satellite modules have same testing function. This tester is equipped with Barometric Pressure Compensation.
Though advanced and multi-functional, this tester, or more definite, this testing system is easy to operate: one button operation guarantees high automation.
