PPS Inc. Earns ISO 9001:2008 Certification

(Free-Press-Release.com) July 12, 2010 -- OLATHE, KAN. — PPS Inc., a Midwest-based printer of custom industrial graphic products, has earned certification to the updated ISO 9001:2008 standard. Previously the company had also achieved certification to the stringent 9001:2000 standard.

ISO certification applies to all PPS processes, including the production of overlays, membrane switches, nameplates, decals, labels and die-cut components. PPS serves diverse markets, including avionics, aerospace, medical devices and irrigation control, plus exercise, industrial and electronic equipment manufacturers.

The PPS quality system was audited and certified by Smithers Quality Assessments Inc., a leading independent accredited registrar.

Set by the International Organization for Standardization, the requirements are for the quality management of business processes used to create and control products and services. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, the ISO is the world’s largest developer and publisher of international standards, accepted in 161 countries.
