Primer Premier will now enable users to design highly specific standard PCR and SNP genotyping assays. Primer Premier now employs a powerful algorithm to avoid homology and template secondary structures regions to aid in providing specificity to the primers.

For multiplexing, Primer Premier launches a primer search in batch mode. Primer Premier checks for all the possible cross reactivity and displays the most stable structure formed by each primer. This functionality reduces false priming and ensures a strong signal strength.

In addition to the above, it enables the use of pre-designed, well proven primers and designs a compatible set, given any one primer, forward or reverse. Users can design SNP flanking primers for SNP genotyping assays.
