Saab announced today the suspension of warranty coverage on all of its vehicles in North America. This includes any vehicle sold or leased, or any vehicle already owned or leased by a consumer which is under the Saab factory warranty. As such, those cars are now "as is" vehicles. In an "as is" situation, the owner of the vehicle is now responsible for any and all repairs to the car - these repairs can be costly. Furthermore, the bankruptcy of Saab leads the availability of parts into question, further rendering issues for consumers.
