Variety of online videos line up for judgment by top movie director Oliver Stone


June 21 – London, UK - The Press Association is the latest corporation to enter the vzaar Online Video Festival (http://www.vzaar.com/festival), vying for the title of Best Business Online Video 2011, to be judged by Hollywood movie director, Oliver Stone. TNR is the specialist communications consultancy of the Press Association and is just one of hundreds of prestigious organizations which use the vzaar online video hosting platform and has entered the exciting contest, which closes on 1st July.

“We have received over 600 entries so far,” said Stephen McCluskey, CEO of vzaar, who revealed that the quality of the entries – most of them from creative agencies in London and the USA – was very impressive.

Other recent entries have rolled in from BiteCP (http://www.bitecp.com) and Wapple (http://wapple.net) – a top line British-based creative agency whose customers include Oracle and John Lewis, and a submission from Wapple, a leading mobile website builder which services some of the largest brands in the world.

vzaar (http://vzaar.com) is expecting to receive hundreds more entries before the deadline on 1st July. Winners are to be announced on July 18th, but before then vzaar will contact entrants whose work has made the shortlist, so they can be on standby for the final judgment to be delivered by Mr. Stone.

It is easy to enter. Simply submit your video at http://vzaar.com/festival. The submissions will be judged on style, originality and its commercial impact.

The categories for which awards will be made (along with an endorsement and personal critique from Oliver Stone) are
– Best Product/Service Video
– Best Video by a Creative Agency
– Most creative use of Video Online

The entry adjudged the best across all categories will win the Best Business Online Video 2011 Award.
