PRESS RELEASE: DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY (DOE) AWARDS CONTRACT TO GNS, INC. TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SUPPORT AS THE DOE OCIO CONTINUES TO IMPLEMENT ITS STRATEGY TO INNOVATE IT SERVICES AND CYBER SECURITY

Rockville, Maryland, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) May 31, 2011 -- The multi-year, $4 million dollar contract awarded to Global Network Systems (GNS) starting March 2011, allows us to provide broadened management, consulting, and support services with the goal to improve the management, administration, and overall quality of DOE OCIO administrative programs and services. GNS support in the form of reviews and analysis will be provided in six task areas: (1) Program Management Assessment, (2) Risk Management Assessment, (3) Quality Assurance Assessment, (4) Business/Functional Reviews, (5) Technical Assessments and Studies, and (6) Cyber Security.
