FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) October 25, 2011 --
Prime Endoscopy Bristol has announced that they are expanding their community endoscopy clinic to accommodate patients from the South Gloucestershire area. Increasing their clinics to 5 per week, from the current 4 will mean that more patients can be seen by their expert team of gastroenterology and endoscopy specialists. Local GPs have responded well to the convenient and efficient service on their doorstep, and patients have reported high satisfaction rates, with 86% scoring the service between 8 and 10 out of 10. The clinic’s strong links with secondary care have also allowed for effective liaison with specialist teams, meaning patients benefit from swift and appropriate referral on, or further treatment.
Dr Mike Cohen, GPSI in gastroenterology confirmed that ‘Prime Endoscopy Bristol were continuing to pick up new cases of bowel cancer, not via the 2 week wait pathway’, demonstrating how invaluable a service such as theirs is in detecting early cancers.
