Printing Community Rallies to Send Cards to Boy Battling Leukemia and Brain Cancer

Attention printing community: Can you take a few minutes and send a get-well card to a young boy this busy season? Young Joey Caretti is battling his second round of a rare form of brain cancer in just 3 years. As a further complication, Joey has developed Leukemia as a result of the brain cancer treatment. As Joey faces more chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, he is finding much needed support through the get-well cards he has been receiving. Joey’s mother, Lisa Caretti, has requested more cards to help put a smile on her son’s face. She is hoping to see an outpouring of 1,000 get-well cards to help lift her son’s spirits as he battles Leukemia. The PrintSites team was inspired to take part, and also inspired to reach out to their network of printing associates on behalf of Joey. “We’re all printers. This is what we do – if we spread the word, the printing community will be rallying to send this boy cards,” said one PrintSites team member.
