While being signed to Young Money Entertainment and labelmates with rising stars Drake and Nicki Minaj, Gudda Gudda is poised to be the next artist, off the talented roster, to reach platinum status. Raised in the streets of New Orleans, Louisiana, Gudda was encouraged to pursue a career in rap by his mentor and close friend, Lil’ Wayne.

Since signing to the imprint Gudda has released several mixtapes, toured both nationally and internationally and was also featured on Young Money’s “We Are Young Money” compilation which was certified Gold earlier this year by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). The project was fueled by the lead single, “Every Girl” which peaked at number 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100. “BedRock,” the follow up single, which featured Lil’ Wayne, Drake, Jae Millz, Nicki Minaj, Tyga and Lloyd peaked at number 2 also on Billboard’s Hot 100. Gudda was featured on both commercially successful singles.

Gudda is also featured on “I Don’t Like The Look Of It” which is lead single off Lil’ Wayne’s latest opus, “I’m Not A Human Being,” which debuted number 1 on this week’s Billboard 200. Therefore to build on the momentum of the Young Money’s success, Gudda hooked up with Mississippi’s own, DJ No-Good to capitalize on his growing buzz in the streets.
