ASI Career Institute, a private vocational school with two campuses in southern New Jersey; one in Turnersville and the second in Burlington, has partnered with the Camden Riversharks Baseball Club in Camden, New Jersey, to donate three fully-funded scholarships to try to help the persistent unemployment rate and get people back to work in high demand jobs. ASI and the Riversharks gave away the first of three scholarships on Saturday, July 9, 2011. The first scholarship winner is Tom Swiderski of Sewell, New Jersey. Tom was awarded a $12,000 scholarship to ASI's School of Allied Health Professions. Tom is interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. The second scholarship will be awarded on July 27th and the final scholarship on August 31st both at a Camden Riversharks home game at Campbell’s Field in Camden, NJ. Anyone interested in applying for a scholarship, should go to www.ASI.edu and click on the Camden Riversharks logo on the home page.

ASI Career Institute is committed to helping people who want to change careers or excel in their existing career. The school feels like they change people's lives everyday, by helping people learn a new in demand career and get back to work. With the governmental programs lacking in funding or motivation, ASI has stepped up to make sure more people interested in training can get some. Frank Whelan, President, states “Private sector schools and colleges must pick up the disheartened people interested in education, where the government has let them down. This is one way we can give back to the community. We’re putting people back to work, one student at a time.”

Anyone interested in a new in demand job, should log on to www.ASI.edu to learn more about our medical, dental and business classes.
