I loved going to celebrity sites and looking the pictures of all the Hollywood actresses who looked happy and gorgeous in their size 2 dresses. I always hoped that one day I will be able to be as thin as them.

I have tried all sorts of weight loss programs and fad diets to try to shed off the pounds. I even resorted to starving myself for days at a time. I would lose a few pounds but the trouble was, the moment I was faced with a delicious meal, my resolve weakened and I would eat nonstop until I was back to my regular weight again.

I grew more depressed and ended up eating some more. My favorite snacks were high in sugar and carbohydrates. Chocolates and ice cream my weakness. I did not drink water, only soda, juices and milk. I did not eat any fruits or vegetables either.
