Process Operation to Reduce Air Pollution Emissions in Aggregate Crushing Plant

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 23, 2012 -- 1. The aggregate production rate of the aggregate plant shall not exceed the following:
equipment maximum allowable aggregate production rate (tons/quarter)
aggregate plant 1,104,000

2. All crushers (stone crusher), screens, and conveyors shall be ducted to the APC baghouses (P/OS 12346 & 12347) at all times.

3. The APC baghouses (P/OS 12346 & 12347) shall operate whenever the aggregate plant is in operation.

4. Water spray systems shall be installed at the feeder/hooper and the stacker conveyors drop point to piles. Additional water sprays shall be installed, if necessary, to comply with the opacity limitations of conditions # 5, #6, and #7.
5. The water spray systems shall be maintained in good working order and be operated as efficiently as possible so as to minimize air pollutant emissions.
