Professor John Stevens: new Son Powers album “excellent roots blues with modern themes.”

The title cut uses computer lingo as a point of departure for the story, which is combined with a dark, gritty blues music setting.

“Another outstanding song is called "Tumbledown Mind." This one also provides a modern approach to the lyric with a blues setting. The shift in the melodic phrasing between the verses and the title creates a "tumbling" effect that supports the title perfectly.
