Profit AND Protect Chiropractic Seminars to be held in Seattle and Portland
New Medicare regulations, increasing audits and coding changes will be taught in two upcoming seminars to chiropractors who want to learn strategies to maximize reimbursements and minimize audit risk.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) September 21, 2011 --
In October 2011, chiropractors will have two opportunities to learn strategies to increase their profits and protect their practice from the risk of post-payment audits. Seminars are being presented by Dr. Tom Necela of The Strategic Chiropractor and will be held in Seattle and in Portland.
This new seminar series is completely updated for 2011 and is designed to show chiropractors how to eliminate confusion in billing, coding, and collections and features the tips and techniques to boost their bottom line -- despite a slowing economy and rapidly increasing wave of audits and changes in healthcare.
Dr. Joe Betz of Boise, Idaho who also lectures nationally on chiropractic documentation principles proclaims that Dr. Necela "knows more on coding, billing and audit protection than anyone I have seen. His presentation skills are excellent, making such a topic entertaining as well as easy to understand and implement."
Dr. Doug DeShazo made the trip from Palmer, Alaska and noted "I spent $1500 in airfare to attend your seminar in Seattle and it was worth every penny. I am certain to recoup the investment with a couple of simple changes in our billing and documentation procedures."
Necela lends a unique perspective to his work teaching chiropractors. He is the first chiropractor certified as a Professional Medical Auditor and Professional Coder. As a former insurance claims analyst, he intimately understands the challenges and frustrations of dealing with health insurance from "both sides of the fence." This knowledge and experience translates to a wealth of information for attendees.
Perry Cammisa, DC who is a chiropractor in Woodridcge, Illinois agrees: "I thought my practice was on top of all potential billing and coding. I have been in practice for 20 years, and what I have learned in one day is nothing short of astounding. I would hate to add up all the money that was left on the table because I thought I knew all there was to know about billing and coding."
The Seattle session will take place on Thursday October 13, 2011 at the Best Western Rivers Edge Hotel, 15901 W. Valley Highway in Tukwila (less than 5 minutes from Sea-Tac airport). The Portland session will be held at the Embassy Suites Airport Hotel, 7900 NE 82nd Avenue, Portland , OR 97220.
The sessions will be from 9 am to 3pm and count as 6 continuing education credits for chiropractors. The cost is $149 in advance for one attendee in advance and $199 for two attendees in advance.
Seminar attendees will discover advanced strategies that enable you to stay ahead of the game, regardless of whether their practice is cash, insurance, PI, or a mix. They will learn:
