Her passion for design and desire to diversify the invitation world has brought about the entire Rad Iris line of invitations.

When asked about the inspiration for some of her designs, Nickerson commented:
“I was so tired of seeing the "rainbow" used over and over in GLBTQ designs. I had a vision of creating a line of invitations for the community that step away from the rainbow and focus on what this community is really about. I want to bring in strength, success, diversity, value, inclusion and maybe a little humor. Rad Iris is my answer to the superficial GLBTQ invitations.”
