KODAK, TN A new consulting service has been unveiled to help budding authors get their books printed and marketed to the public. The North Pole Press has expanded its services of The Last Word In Books to include help in marketing. These new services offer authors either do it yourself, or professionally prepared, press releases, along with social media tips, how to secure public relations events and more.

The Last Word In Books helps authors format their books for either digital media like Kindle and Nook, or for hard copy distribution. They make it clear that they are not a publishing house but a publishing consultant. The difference being that they will assist the author get to the place they need to be, and will help them get there, but will not take either the rights or the control from the author.

œEveryone needs a little help from time to time, says owner Mary Moore, œSome authors are able to get their work to a particular point and no further. We offer that additional push without a major investment or loss of command on their part.

The North Pole Press offers its work on the Santa Claus Trilogy as an example of what they can do. Their literary works Believe Again, The North Pole Chronicles and Faith, Hope & Reindeer show how much can be done without hefty costs up front.

Joe Moore the author, and marketing arm, of The North Pole Press states, œLook up either title on Google or take a look at the social media surrounding them, it is quite impressive. Moore had been in advertising and marketing for 30 years and wants to help his fellow authors succeed in getting their published works into œas many hands as possible.

œThe good and bad news, Moore comments, œis that self-publishing has made it easier to publish, but harder to get it out there among the cacophony of new titles everyday. Every effort needs to be made to stand out from the crowd. The more tools you implement, the more success you will have.

The North Pole Press services vary widely, and they offer bundled packages or a la carte services, depending on how much assistance an author needs. œWe are here to guide the author to the place they want to get to, we don't take charge of the project. This is why we have very reasonable rates for each service. As we are all trying to get to the same place, we just want to help others get to where we already have been, Mary Moore explains.

Their website, http://thenorthpolepress.com, discuss their services in detail under the headings 'Publishing Consulting' and 'Book Design'. Joe Moore concluded, œWe hope that any serious author consults with us so that we can all see a measure of success in our books. There are a lot of great stories out there, and we think each one should be heard.
