Purebreeders.com donates to help pets with disabilities

Purebred Breeders reviews charitable causes and has pledged to support the cause of Pets with Disabilities by donating $500 on October 13, 2011.

The most recent statistic by the American Humane Association shows that an estimated 3.7 million animals were euthanized in 2008, with disabled dogs being at a higher risk.

Pets with Disabilities is an organization that serves as a rescue aid, and promotes the adoption of animals that have been injured by accident or physically disabled by illness, giving them a second chance.

Joyce Darrell and her husband, Michael Dickers founded Pets with Disabilities in 2000. “It all started with a dog called Duke – our German Shepherd mix who broke his back while playing,” commented Darrell on the inspiration behind the organization, “We made a commitment when we brought him home; through sickness and health, until death do us part, he was to remain a part of our family.”

“We would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude for the support extended by Purebred Breeders. Acts like these give us an opportunity to provide a safe haven and hope to hundreds of pets with disabilities,” said Joyce Darrell.

The Purebredbreeders.com Donation Program, which just celebrated its first anniversary on October 1st. Purebred Breeders reviews different causes that help in the betterment of man’s best friend. Purebred Breeders seeks out small, lesser-known underfunded operations that make a difference in the -more-lives of animals and their owners. Extensive research is done to seek out these organizations and Purebred Breeders reviews them with the goal of making a contribution that will directly benefit and add towards the success of their admirable efforts.
