QAM Analysis Meter designed for both installation

Toronto, Canada - GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) has launched its QAM analysis meter for DVB system testing. It measures channel power, MER and BER, and provides C/N measurement, voltmeter function, spectrum analysis and data logging.

This QAM analysis meter, model 1185Q, operates over a wide frequency band of 5 to 870MHz with a resolution of 10kHz. This meter conducts return path testing and provides voltmeter functions, spectrum analysis; auto testing, analog TV measurement and DVB power measurements including QAM, QPSK and COFDM. It boasts intelligent power management, fast setup and alphanumeric input and allows for easy transfer of test data to a computer or printer through serial interface. In addition, this meter complies with DVB–C and ITU–T J.83 Annex a standards.
