FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) November 16, 2011 --QR4 Technologies Inc. has established offices in the newly renovated Chattanooga/Hamilton County Business Development Center. The center is located on 100 Cherokee Blvd. on the North Shore of downtown Chattanooga within walking distance to Coolidge Park. The BDC is owned by Hamilton County and operated by the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce.
QR4 Technologies Inc. is a newly formed Chattanooga startup that specializes in QR Code Generation. QR Codes are a new type of barcode developed in Japan and migrated to the United States marketplace. The code consists of a small square of bars arranged horizontally and vertically to create encoded data. QR Codes are currently showing up in magazines and on products such as your local GAP Kids retailers. QR Codes are easily readable by a number of free applications (APPS) loaded on the growing number of Smart Phones like iPhone and Android. See QR4 EZ Reader/Scanner2 - HERE
“We are excited to have this type of Chattanooga Technology onsite here at the BDC” says Kathryn Foster, Director of Small Business & Entrepreneurship at Chattanooga Hamilton County Business Development Center.
Entrepreneur and C.E.O. Lee Mansfield started the company two years ago when he developed an enhanced version of the traditional code. The powerful QR4 Code promises to deliver a code that gives the user the ability to connect and share more than 15 separate links using only One Dynamic QR4 Code . A few of these include:
• Websites
• Text
• Coupons
• vCards
• Phone Numbers
• email addresses
• iTunes Music Links
• YouTube Video Links
Many companies are using QR Codes to promote their products. Millions of Coca Cola cups circulating this month will display QR Codes for a program that supports the brand’s mascot, the polar bear. When the consumer scans the code, they are lead to a Facebook snowball throwing game where you can donate to the World Wildlife Fund. Read more about this effort on Mashable Business.
