Quidlibet Strategic Ventures Launches Ventures for Veterans with Free Event

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 3, 2009 -- Quidlibet Strategic Ventures (QSV), a 501(c)(3), founded to provide career planning, business education and support services for military veterans interested in business ownership will launch its Ventures for Veterans Project with an event to be held on November 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. at VFW Post 8081 in Warrenville, Illinois, in honor of Veterans Day. The keynote speaker for the organization's debut is 1st Sgt. Harold "Butch" Smith, who will share his experiences in making the transition from career military to civilian employment and then to entrepreneur.

All interested military veterans are invited to attend this educational and informative event. There is no charge for admission and food will be served free of charge. Beverages will be available for purchase from the VFW to benefit Post 8081.

Also speaking will be Nina Cunningham, Founder of QSV, who will discuss the mission of Ventures for Veterans and offer an opportunity for veterans to receive information on career and business planning. Especially designed for military veterans, career planning assistance can help former servicemen develop educational or business goals and incorporate their military training and work experience into resumes, cover letters and business plans. Assistance is provided to help former service personnel address market needs and demands in civilian terms and to craft career and business plans that encompass their experience and achievement.
