Medical CannaBusiness Online Systems Introduces a New Statewide Industry Consolidation Program for Legally Licensed Organic Growers, Caregivers, Dispensaries and Doctors
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) August 26, 2009 --
Accounting for an emerging legal industry that was formerly cloaked in secrecy and managed primarily by criminals is nothing new for many Las Vegas businesses. Part of the City's successful early history is tied directly to organized crime - more specifically, the Mafia and a man named Bugsy Siegel. On more than one occasion, Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman has been sited as the man who bridged the gap between the Mob and Big Business.
A proactive Nevada based Technology Company, Retail Network Global, Inc. (RNG) adopted a bit of Goodman's savvy, creating Medical CannaBusiness Online Systems - an adaptable, customized Statewide Online Business Consolidation Plan to separate the legal, organically grown, medical cannabis industry from the on-going criminal enterprise via an interactive web-based application and the Internet.
Because it's common for unmonitored US cottage industries to be riddled with crime, industry consolidation is the fastest way to distinguish between the legal companies and the illegal activities. Since 2005, RNG Co-founder and EVP Rae Romanoff had made it her mission to seek out American cottage industries in need of what she calls "an extreme industry make over."
Romanoff and Software Architect partner, Martin Ehrhard got started in 2005 when a group of 20 independent US labor service providers contacted them about customizing an ordering & program management system for their exclusive use within the Retail Marketing Support Service Industry.
Once the pair identified the key components to swift and successful industry consolidation and began building their systems in modules, they focused on specific technology to define, support and account for each state's individual day-to-day legal business transactions conducted within the rapidly developing Medical Cannabis industry, as a way of distinguishing it from the ever present criminal enterprise.
"We do not keep track of the criminal element, individual patients that self-medicate or small caregivers growing less than six plants per year," Romanoff explained. "The system is set up to identify each state's legally licensed organic grower-wholesalers, regional caregivers, dispensaries and doctors and to provide a safe and structured online environment for legal companies conducting business on behalf of patients. We maintain a transaction record of every legal seed from germination through patient pick up. We can tell you what's being grown, who's growing it, if it's truly organic, strain/potency, price, weight and the projected harvest date. With a coded numbering system, we can match patients' specific needs to plants currently being grown without violating Hippa Laws. The ordering system is backed up by an online transparency that allows law enforcement, tax collectors and other state/federal officials to oversee the industry as it conducts business. If you're not in the system, then you're fair game for the DEA and the DOJ."
