R4 DS Karte – Uses of Nintendo DS and DSi cards

This will allow the customers to convert their DS and DSi consoles into MP3 players, movie players and also into a PDF and office document reader. It has options to play regular games which have done before.

The R4i SDHC card was the first card which was manufactured under the R4 brand name for producing Nintendo Dsi. Cards that were previously compatible with the Nintendo DS and DS Lite consoles were not working with the newer DSi owing to new hardware incompatibilities. R4i SDHC was the first R4 card which overcome this problems along with the Acekard 2i and EZFlash Vi which was introduced after several times.

Micro-SDHC cards are supported by the R4i SDHC card in a maximum size of 32GB. Each gigabyte of data allowing approximately eight games, that would amount to over 250 games on a single card. Most consumers use 4GB or 8GB cards to balance price against memory capacity, where there is enough room to store a large number of MP3s and movie.

The R4i SDHC uses a spring less Micro-SD card slot for minimizing mechanical parts on the card. More cards will not experience the infamous spring slot problem. As same as the iEDGE DS card, the R4i SDHC has a protective plastic covering over its connector strips, which minimize the ability of dust to gather on the sensitive connector strips of the card.

Firmware upgrades for the R4i SDHC team will give few details about the card. As same as the internal firmware of the R4i SDHC which is not upgradable, with frequent software updates allowing for compatibility with the latest applications and games. The latest R4i SDHC software is incredibly stable and the team have updated the software frequently over the last year. Most cheapest is the Nintendo DSi compatible cards in the market which has more sales.

The original DSi compatible card is stable . The expense is more cheap for the customers who buy at the first time. The internal firmware of the card cannot be upgraded. The R4i SDHC card is a sturdy and reliable card which is ideal for the first time user of a Nintendo DSi card. It is also backwards compatible with all older Nintendo handheld consoles (the DS, DS Lite and DSi as well as the DSi XL).
