Radio Host Retires Show, Embarks On A New Venture, With A New Show

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago, Illinois, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) August 20, 2011 -- Radio Host Joshua-Paul Angell announced today that he is retiring his long running, award winning and critically acclaimed broadcast, "The Joshua-Paul Show".

The radio show had not been actively broadcast for nearly two months, leaving listeners in the dark as to what was occurring. Angell went public today utilizing his Facebook fan page and Google+ accounts, as well as Twitter to inform listeners he will no longer broadcast under the name of "The Joshua-Paul Show". The radio show will now be a podcast, and has become "Simple Living Radio".

Angell enlisted the help of his close friend to write a new bio and show description, bringing the announcement to the public on Facebook.

The statement reads:
"Ok, so- with all the changes occuring I enlisted the help of my friend Samantha Brewer to write my show information. Samantha, you are fantastic. You described myself and my show to a "T"... BUT, it does sound a bit like an obituary- and I guess it is in some ways.

Regardless, Here it is my loyal fans/listeners... And it will stay this way. - JP

Simple Living Radio was formerly known as "The Joshua-Paul Show", which was syndicated and simulcast, as well as available on several apps. In Late August of 2011, Joshua decided to change things. After losing all of his money, and eating "humble pie"- he decided to live simple- Thus, the name Simple Living Radio.
The Joshua-Paul Show was broadcast across the Nation on various AM and FM affiliates also Streaming World Wide via BlogtalkRadio. Simple Living Radio is Joshua's new vision. The show is a simple Podcast, fitting of course to the name Simple Living Radio.

Formerly broadcast in Studio 52, Chicago-Illinois, Joshua-Paul took a nose dive and lost everything he had while battling debilitating OCD, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (after being sexually assaulted) Bipolar Disorder, addiction and borderline Paranoid disorder. JP is a skin cancer survivor and continues to have scares with Melanoma.

JP had a co-host named April Landis for many episodes of the show. He now flies solo in podcast version. After losing everything financially, even his car- he hit rock bottom.


It was at this time that he was forced to re-evaluate his life.
Living on a budget of sometimes less than $5 a week, JP decided to present himself in the most honest, real and up-front approach that he never before portrayed on his former show.

Formerly writing for Examiner, JP raised awareness on many issues in the Animal Rights arena and politics. After several setbacks, he resigned his position, citing "I was the mouthpiece for the silent activists, and I got screwed. They didn't back me up, and many wanted to be anonymous. It isn't worth it. I've lost too much in my life and I'm not going to put myself out there on that level anymore."


Simple Living Radio is now broadcast from Joshua-Paul's modest residence of 700 square feet, from nothing more than a home studio that is a converted walk-in closet.


JP is planning to start a commune/ashram in the near future, where the Utopian experiment will occur.


Joshua-Paul is active in an organization known as The US Parliament, where he serves on 2 Elected voluntary seats.


No funds are generated from Simple Living Radio, and commercial advertising is no longer accepted.
