Radio Icon Carlos Alvarez Joins Meruelo Media in Los Angeles

Meruelo Media Holdings, the leading minority-owned Media Company serving Latinos in California and Texas, announced today that Spanish-Language Radio icon Carlos Alvarez has joined its Noticias MundoFox22 team as a Senior Entertainment Correspondent. The Emmy-Award winning Carlos Alvarez will be presenting segments focusing on the today's top entertainment and media stars. These features and interviews will appear throughout various MundoFOX 22 and Meruelo Media Productions.

Carlos Alvarez brings to the MundoFOX 22 team over 16 years of radio and television experience in the Hispanic market. He is one of Los Angeles's most recognized voices. Throughout his illustrious career, Carlos has developed extensive relationships with all of the top acts in Hispanic entertainment from Vicente Fernandez to the late Jenni Rivera. There is seemingly no one that Carlos does not know “ or knows him. His smooth voice and warm smile make him the perfect match for the MundoFOX family.
