North Canton, Ohio, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) December 1, 2010 -- Award-winning sleep, rest, and body clock expert, Dr. Matthew Edlund will be the featured guests on North Ohio’s WHBC 1480 Talk Radio Show, Wriggling in the Middle, on Monday, December 6 at 9:10 am (Eastern Time). “The Rest Doctor”, Dr. Matthew Edlund joins us today to discuss the importance of a good night’s rest and what happens when we become rest-deprived.

After years of clinical research and consultations with hundreds of patients, Dr. Edlund discovered that many people aren't just sleep-deprived, they're rest-deprived. As a result, our hearts, minds, and central nervous systems are overloaded, our health is suffering, and we've forgotten what it feels like to be truly refreshed. Just in time for the holidays, Dr. Edlund will share with us the difference between sleep and rest, illnesses that a good sleep can prevent and techniques to aid us in sleeping better now and later in life.

Every Monday from 9-10 a.m. radio hosts Dr. Merle Griff and DeLores Pressley, co-hosts of Wriggling in the Middle (http://www.wrigglingonline.com), discuss the dilemmas and delights of being part of the ‘sandwich generation’ and responsible for the care of multiple generations. As a special highlight, each show features an expert to add lively discussion and perspective to the show’s topics.
