FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
West Springfield, Massachusetts, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 5, 2011 --

At Wrongly Accused we value your feedback, opinions and experiences with innocent people that have been executed, on death row, serving life in prison, the mentally ill, and police brutality. The mentally ill are thrown in prison when the system has failed them. These people usually need a psychiatric hospital not a prison cell. There are so many innocent people on death row and serving life in prison while there is no evidence to say they are guilty the jury still convicts. There is something at a trial called reasonable doubt. If there is any possibility that the suspect is innocent, the jury is supposed to enter a "not guilty" verdict. They say it is better to let ten guilty people go free than to convict one innocent person. The juries are not making their decisions based on this.

Many police officers abuse their power and pull people over or search people unlawfully. When someone is asking why they are being arrested the officer will say "stop resisting". They will pull people over for fake reasons and then when they go to fill out their reports they will put something down that is different than what they told the subject that was pulled over. A good example is: a man was stopped in his car for what the cop said was expired tags. The subject said "my tags aren't expired" and the officer told him to step out of his car, they searched him, THEN the cop said "Oh, and you have a broken windshield" and then they put handcuffs on him. When the guy asked why he was being arrested the cop said "stop resisting". Then towards the end the cop said that he had pulled the subject over for a broken windshield. He claimed that he pulled him over for expired tags but the tags werent expired so the cop looked for a good reason to pull someone over. He didn't even see the cracked windshield until he was searching the vehicle.

We are here to raise awareness about these issues and specific cases. At our forum we love to hear from people who have absolutely anything to say about any of these issues or any issue that may be related. Whether or not you agree your opinion is still valued. Please, come to Wrongly Accused to read about some specific cases just to get an idea of the kind of things the system is doing to people or give us your own experience at the forums. All members are greatly appreciated even if you dont have an experience or an opinion on these issues. Thank you for taking a minute to read this and thank you in advance if you do decide to come look at our website.
