Randy “Windtalker” Motz to perform “Native SoundScapes” at Father’s Day Brunch at Knob Hall Winery in Clear Spring, Maryland.

On Sunday, June 19, 2011, from 12:00pm – 2:00pm, Randy “Windtalker” Motz will be performing his unique style of Native American flute in the tasting room. “Windtalker’s” blending of flute with the lush sounds of piano, cello, guitar and Native percussion, weaves a musical tapestry that creates a warm ambience perfectly suited for an afternoon of elegant wine tasting. For ten years, “Windtalker” has been bringing his special brand of music to festivals, coffee houses, wineries, schools, churches, private parties and other intimate venues. He was also the guest performer for a moonlight tour held by the National Park Service at New Mexico’s Pueblo Bonito ruins at Chaco Canyon National Historical Park. His graceful and winding melodies communicate his long-held passion for Native cultures and his love of nature, a love solidified during his thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail and travels throughout the U.S. He now brings his beautiful music to Knob Hall.

“Windtalker” will be playing pieces from his current CD, “Native SoundScapes,” as well as many new arrangements that will appear on his upcoming CD.
