RAY ALLISON RECEIVES NATIONAL PRUDENTIAL AWARD

Allison, who serves as director of commercial real estate services in Prudential Gary Greene’s corporate office, said it takes persistence and attention to detail to succeed in the commercial real estate area. The deal that helped him win the award - successfully relocating an energy company to larger office space in The Woodlands - took him two years to close. Allison said it was especially challenging because of a turnover of leadership in the client company during the process.

Allison said another key point is to stay well versed in market trends.

“Also, you also have to know lease rates, expense rates on leases, build-out rates and construction rates,” he said. “You have to stay on top of things.”

Allison’s hard work, in addition to his recent big sale in The Woodlands, has reaped ample benefits, and he said he has already closed several things in the second quarter.
