REBUTTAL TO TYCOON'S "D'JAIS, BELMAR, NJ --- A JERSEY SHORE NIGHTMARE FOR LOCALS"

Tycoon, you have concocted quite a story here. From reading some of your prior press-releases, it seems as though this is what you do. Your posts are maniacal, your thoughts delusional, and you attain no conclusive evidence of anything. You call yourself a journalist? Your writing skills are extremely poor; they lack quality, credibility, and basic grammatical know-how. As a journalist, one is assumed to have taken an unspoken oath of honesty and integrity, and to report the news truthfully without bias; neither of which you have done. Your tall tales belong in fables, not on news sites or Youtube.

Despite your awful writing skills, I want to get to my point and rebut your spiteful and bad-natured claims. The accusations you've made are an exaggeration of an incident that you witnessed the tail end of. You are a liar, and weak one at that. Your distorted vision of reality in the matter was a seemingly poor attempt to gain publicity for an incident that you've completely embellished and alleged from an outside perspective of the club.

I’d like to ask you a few questions Tycoon… What is the relevance of the woman being "black"? How does it pertain to your argument? All sorts of people get thrown out of the club, black, white, purple, yellow, you name it. Their ethnic and cultural backgrounds are irrelevant, if they’re doing something wrong, they will be escorted out accordingly. Furthermore, were you inside D'jais when the incident occurred? When the "black woman" was being escorted out and proceeded to bite one of the "thug bouncer's" arm multiple times? The “thug” that night had to receive shots from a local hospital as a preventive for disease, as the wounds in his arm broke the flesh and drew blood.

Your comments regarding the police being paid off by the club is cooked-up speculation that you’ve clearly mistaken for police doing their job. The police prowl all of Belmar with utmost respect and efficiency. D'jais takes on a very high volume of business though; the police are there to maintain order and control so disturbances do not reach the residential streets. Do you know how many incidents they prevent from escalating every night? How many drunk drivers they avert from getting on the road? How many people they stop from urinating on your lawn? Or even how many people they get home safely at the end of the night? You have no idea, and it is apparent these questions have never even crossed your benighted and bird-brained little mind.

I will tell you this Tycoon, I am affiliated with the club, I am not a bouncer, bartender, nor an owner. And in all honesty, I do have distaste for some of the patrons that attend D'jais. But I will remain unbiased in this matter as you have not. I will not reveal the title of my position, but what you have claimed us to be are “security guards posing as police officers." This is not the case whatsoever. No one is pretending to be anything, especially a police officer. I am 24 years of age; myself and my colleagues all have full time jobs and this is strictly side work. We are hired by D'jais to patrol the neighboring area, build relationships with tenants of rented homes whom attend the club, gain a mutual understanding of respect between the patrons and ourselves, but mostly, we are there for THE RESIDENTS. We’re constantly exceeding the requirements of our position, and make extreme efforts to do what is best for the surrounding community.

We are there for your benefit Tycoon, to make certain someone doesn't urinate in your yard, desecrate your home, or even get too loud when leaving the club at three o’clock in the morning. The club spends a considerable amount of money attempting to appease the residents that live in Belmar year round. When in reality, they shouldn’t have to spend a dime. D'jais has been there for over 30 years; longer than you’ve been there, and longer than most of the people that complain have been there. Yet you still have the audacity to open your mouth and flaunt malicious nonsense at the club while threatening to sue them.

You claim “the physical and emotional damage done to you will go to a jury, count on it.” You want to mention legalities? How’s this for a legal matter? D'jais could easily counter-sue you for slander and defamation. Your written portrayal of these incidents shows no truth in the actual matter; and in turn all you have is done is put a negative spin on a situation that was observed from where you were you standing. You have lied Tycoon, made up a story; your video evidence is worthless, ambiguous, and 100% inconclusive regarding anything that occurred that evening. There was no physical damage done to you, I witnessed you hand your camera over to a security guard with no questions asked. Your front tooth was never knocked out by anyone associated with D'jais. D'jais also compensated you for the damages done to your camera…despite the fact that you were on private property and had no business filming anything. Did you have a permit to film at D'jais? Did anyone give you authorization or the O.K. to film there? Were you on a public street? It is illegal to photograph or film on private property without permission.

Did you not do your research about the area you moved into? If it weren’t for the patrons of D'jais and tenants that rent seasonally; your taxes for Belmar would be THROUGH THE ROOF. The cost of living would be disgusting and you would surely move. So be grateful and mindful of your seasonal visitors, they’re play an enormous role in your town’s economy. This isn’t the “1930’s” Tycoon, it is 2009; times have changed quite a bit in the last 80 years. What do you know about the 30’s anyway? You’re only 60.

In your summary, you said “check out the stats.” What stats were you speaking of? Did I miss them? You have presented nothing, your arguments expose your ignorance and callowness in a scene that you’ve clearly demonstrated you know nothing about. Your attitude is pathetic, detestable, and pompous. At the age of 60, you should be ashamed of yourself. Good luck pleading your bogus case in court.
