RED HORSE CINEMA SET FOR LIVE THEATER DEBUT INTRODUCING THE RHC THEATER LAB

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 20, 2009 -- The inaugural RHC Theater Lab will feature four theater works at Manhattan’s Shetler Studios on December 12 under the direction of RHC founder Ezra Peace, who describes the hour-long event as “a brief evening of theater hijinks”.

Playwright Josh McIlvain’s “Under the Umbrella,” “The Trap” and “New Girl,” and Nicholas Mills’ “Rock Paper Scissors SHOOT!” will showcase a cast of 15 actors as they take “an introspective look at the human condition while we poke fun at the stupid homo-sapiens,” according to Peace.

The New York-based director aims to give a fresh perspective on black box theater performance with the backing of the company’s scrappy bunch of filmmakers, who for the first time will collectively translate their cinematic sensibilities to the New York stage. “It might not be what you expect. With live sound effects and screen projection as elements, as well as the great performances from the Red Horse players, it is sure to be entertaining,” Peace says.
