Ghetto Altered Hero is the story of outsider artist and former "midget" wrestler/former mayoral candidate of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Doug "Tiny" Tunstall, who has clocked as many hours creating his own "ghetto-altered" universe as he has spent time in the wrestling ring. Plagued by paranoia and, according to the prison mental hospital he was once a resident of, schizophrenia. Tiny must struggle to make a place for himself in the art world.

Featuring appearances by Marvel Comics' Stan Lee, Dougie Tunstall, Danny Trejo, Tony Todd, John Amos, Sean Young, Kevin Sorbo, Deep Roy, Anthony Michael Hall, Adrian Paul, Brian O'Halloran, David Prowse, and many more.

An erudite African American, whose wife was the victim of a hate-crime, reaches the end of his rope when confronted by bigot EJ Winston.

Laura Agnach, PHD (a criminology & sociology professor at Georgia Southern University) is planning to use this controversial film as part of her curriculum, saying, "My America provides an important sociological analysis of the current state of race relations in the U.S. and could be a valuable resource to those who teach about race in higher education."
