Regina Baglioni in Rome suggests a "Pink Evening" to celebrate International Women's Day

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 7, 2011 -- On March 8, 2011, the Regina Hotel Baglioni of Rome will be preparing for an exclusive evening dedicated to celebrating women: At the heart of this event will be delicious Mediterranean dishes created by chef Luciano Sarzi Sartori, who is Head Chef of the Roman hotel’s restaurant, Brunello Lounge & Restaurant, and incomparable music playing until dawn.

Starting at 7 pm, the unique, elegant and versatile Brunello Lounge & Restaurant welcomes guests for the “Aperitivo Tacco Dodici”. This aperitif consists of a “DolceAmaro” (bitter sweet) cocktail tasting to start out the lively evening. Dinner and entertainment start at 8 pm.

Chef Sarzi Sartori suggests an innovative seafood menu that is creative and versatile. This menu was especially developed to astonish and delight guests’ palates with a mixture of innovative and delicate flavors. Dinner starts with a mille-feuille made with red swamp crawfish from Mazara and served with mango chips and a light liquorish sauce (“Millefoglie di gamberi rossi di Mazara con chips di mango e salsa leggera alla liquirizia”). To follow a risotto with thinly sliced scallops marinated with Sicilian citrus fruits (“Risotto con carpaccio di Cappasanta marinata agli agrumi di Sicilia”), and to finish your meal enjoy a creamy dessert made from passion fruit and candied orange pulp and Bronte pistachio nuts (“Cremoso al frutto della passione con cuore di arance candite e pistacchi verdi di Bronte”). Coffee and “friandises” conclude the dinner.

At 11 pm, Brunello Lounge & Restaurant transforms into a discotheque. At the center of the restaurant, the soft velvets and red drapes invite guest to enjoy a sophisticated and exclusive setting. Dj Alex will liven up the evening with music that will make guests dance till dawn in this magical “pink” night.
