REVOLUTION PREP FOUNDERS HONORED BY NEIGHBORHOOD YOUTH ASSOCIATION FOR WORK WITH AT-RISK STUDENTS TO INCREASE COLLEGE ACCESS

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 23, 2011 -- Revolution Prep founders, Jake Neuberg and Ramit Varma, will be honored by the Neighborhood Youth Association (NYA) on March 4th at its 28th Annual Scholarship and Community Service Awards Dinner at the Riviera Country Club. NYA students from middle school through high school have been using Revolution’s web-based adaptive learning software and courses for algebra readiness, state exit exams and SAT test prep and have experienced positive results. These programs build fundamental academic skills, increase test scores, and build student confidence.

Neighborhood Youth Association’s (NYA) mission is to enable at-risk children and youth to achieve their personal best, by providing a comprehensive set of educational enhancement services, academic support, counseling, career planning, and cultural enrichment in a sustained, focused manner during their preschool through high school years. NYA’s 28th Annual Scholarship and Community Service Awards Dinner will be held March 4, 2011 at The Riviera Country Club, 1250 Capri Drive, Pacific Palisades, starting at 6:30pm.
