Rhode Island Storm and NEPHL LEAGUE-WIDE TRYOUT CAMP ANNOUNCED

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 30, 2009 -- Rhode Island’s first NEPHL LEAGUE-WIDE TRYOUT CAMP ANNOUNCED

Camp to be held in Smithfield, Rhode Island

Cranston, Rhode Island----The North East Professional Hockey League (NEPHL) will hold their Southern New England league-wide tryout camp in Smithfield, Rhode Island at the Smithfield Municipal Ice Rink. There are openings for both skaters and goalies.

The camp will commence on Saturday, September 12, 2009 with registration/ check in at 7am, with players on the ice at 8am- 9:50am followed by an afternoon session at 2:00pm – 3:50pm. The camp will continue on Sunday with sessions from 8am- 9:50am and 12noon-1:50pm.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for all of the players to showcase themselves to the management and coaches of our franchises. Players selected from this camp will be invited directly to each individual training camp, in addition to getting some quality ice time against other players. We are happy that we can welcome players to this event and showcase our league in the Southern New England area.” said Pat Lovett, NEPHL Commissioner.

From the camp recently held in Salem, NH at the Salem ICEnter, several players were invited directly to teams training camps and others made enough of an impression that they may be signed prior to the start of the season.

The tryout camp is $175.00 per player with pre-registration online at the NEPHL League website or will be $200.00 at the door and includes the ice time and a jersey. Players can register via the NEPHL website (www.nephlhockey.com) or at the door on the Saturday morning of arrival. Bring your game!
