Richmond BMW Sponsors 9th Annual Children’s Hospital Foundation 10K/5K Fundraiser

Richmond, Virginia, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) October 19, 2011 -- Richmond, VA—Richmond BMW is pleased to announce its role as a sponsor of the Children’s Hospital Foundation 9th Annual 10K/5K Run/Walk & Kids Mascot Mile. The fundraiser race, which is hosted by American Family Fitness, was held on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at 8:30 a.m. at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond.

Revenues generated by the event go to the Children’s Hospital Foundation, which provides support for the programs and initiatives of the Children’s Hospital of Richmond as well as other pediatric healthcare programs in the community. In the 8-year history of the race, over 4,500 community members have come together to help raise more than $320,000 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

In addition to its support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation, Richmond BMW supports the Richmond community through its sponsorship of the Richmond Jazz Festival, the Richmond Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Circle Center Adult Day Services, the World Pediatric Project and more.
