About the 2009 BMW X5
The 2009 BMW X5 is a Sports Activity Vehicle that can seat five or seven passengers. It is available in two trims, the 3.0si V6 and the 4.8-liter V8. The X5 is also offered as an SUV, the xdrive 35d. This vehicle has an acceleration of zero to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds.

The 3.0si comes with a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine that gives an output of 260 horsepower. The other trim is the 4.8i, which a more powerful engine with its 4.8-liter V8 that has power of 350 horsepower. Both these engines come with automatic transmission, and run on a twin-turbocharged, direct-injection system on an all-wheel drive.

This engine marks the introduction of a new generation of clean diesel engines from BMW. Another novelty is the configuration of more torque and better mileage.

Interiors and exteriors

The 2009 BMW X5 is equipped with BMW’s iDrive. By this system, a single knob is used to control navigation, entertainment, climate, communication and other functions.
